12 F Ruggedized Ribbon Cable- Corning

12 F Ruggedized Ribbon Cable- Corning

Corning ruggedized ribbon plenum cables are designed for intrabuilding backbones in plenum, riser and general-purpose installation. With a flame-retardant outer jacket that meets the requirements of the National Electrical Code® (NEC®), Article 770-51(A) and NFPA 262 flame tests, the cables are also ideal for data centers and segregating secure traffic on protected distribution systems (PDS).
The cables consist of fibers organized into easily identifiable 12-fiber ruggedized ribbons inside a central tube with readily identifiable ribbon ID numbers and fiber colors which allow easy access of individual fibers. Dielectric strength members provide tensile strength. These cables are compatible with standard ribbon cable procedures and hardware.
This cable is available in 12 different jacket colors – blue, orange, green, brown, slate, white, red, black, yellow, violet, rose and aqua. The colored jacket allows for easy visual identification of the cables. The standard jacket color will be determined by the dominant fiber type in the cable and will use the standard part numbers shown here.
